JOOD Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the JOOD mobile application, its artificial-intelligence features, and related services.

JOOD is developed and operated by Sajjad Majeed, an independent developer based in Iraq.

By creating an account, accessing JOOD, or using its services, you agree to these Terms and to the JOOD Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use JOOD.

1. Eligibility

You must be legally able to agree to these Terms under the laws that apply to you.

If you are below the age at which you may independently consent to use an online service, you may use JOOD only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

By using JOOD, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are permitted to use the service.

2. Your JOOD Account

Some JOOD features require an account. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate account information
• Protecting access to your email and authentication credentials
• Keeping your account information reasonably current
• All activity performed through your account
• Contacting support if you suspect unauthorized access

You may not share, sell, transfer, or provide unauthorized access to your JOOD account.

3. JOOD Services

JOOD may provide features including:

• AI-generated conversations and responses
• Image understanding and image generation
• File and document processing
• Voice input and speech-related features
• Conversation history
• Personalization and memory features
• Language and Arabic-dialect customization
• Free, advertising-supported, rewarded, or premium features

Features may be added, modified, limited, suspended, or removed as JOOD develops.

Access to a particular feature, model, usage limit, language, platform, or service provider is not guaranteed.

4. Artificial Intelligence Limitations

JOOD generates content through automated artificial-intelligence systems. Outputs are not reviewed by a human before they are shown to you.

AI outputs may:

• Contain factual or reasoning errors
• Misunderstand your request
• Present outdated information
• Generate content that resembles existing material
• Produce unexpected, inappropriate, or offensive results
• Fail to reflect your circumstances or applicable local law

You are responsible for evaluating AI-generated content before using, publishing, sharing, or relying on it.

5. Emergency Situations

JOOD is not an emergency service and cannot contact emergency responders on your behalf.

If you or another person may be in immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency services or a qualified professional.

6. Acceptable Use

You must not use JOOD to:

• Break applicable laws or regulations
• Violate another person's privacy, rights, or intellectual property
• Harass, threaten, exploit, impersonate, or defraud another person
• Generate, distribute, or facilitate illegal content
• Exploit or endanger children
• Promote terrorism, violent extremism, or targeted violence
• Create or distribute malicious software or harmful code
• Gain unauthorized access to accounts, devices, systems, or networks
• Bypass usage limits, payment controls, advertisements, or security measures
• Interfere with JOOD's operation or overload its infrastructure
• Extract, scrape, reverse engineer, or reproduce JOOD except where law permits
• Use automated systems to abuse or excessively access the service
• Misrepresent AI-generated content in a deceptive or harmful manner

We may restrict or terminate access when we reasonably believe these Terms, applicable law, platform rules, or service-provider policies have been violated.

7. Your Content

You retain any rights you hold in prompts, messages, images, files, voice input, and other content you submit to JOOD.

You grant JOOD a limited, non-exclusive right to host, process, transmit, reproduce, and transform your submitted content only as reasonably necessary to:

• Provide the feature you requested
• Store or display your conversation history
• Operate and secure the service
• Prevent abuse and investigate technical problems
• Comply with legal obligations

You confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions to submit your content and allow it to be processed.

Do not submit confidential, highly sensitive, illegal, or rights-infringing material.

8. Generated Content

Subject to applicable law and third-party rights, you may generally use content generated for you by JOOD.

However:

• Similar or identical content may be generated for other users
• JOOD does not guarantee that generated content is unique
• JOOD does not guarantee that generated content is free of third-party claims
• You are responsible for checking whether your intended use is lawful
• You are responsible for disclosures required when publishing AI-generated content

9. Intellectual Property

JOOD, including its app design, branding, source code, interface, graphics, logos, and original service materials, is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Except where expressly allowed by these Terms or applicable law, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, license, or create derivative works from JOOD.

The name JOOD and related branding may not be used in a way that falsely suggests endorsement, partnership, or ownership.

10. Free Usage, Advertisements, and Rewards

JOOD may provide free usage subject to limits. Limits may apply to messages, voice features, image generation, file processing, or other services.

JOOD may display banner, interstitial, native, or rewarded advertisements.

A rewarded advertisement may temporarily provide additional usage. A reward may fail to be granted if:

• The advertisement is not completed
• The advertising provider does not confirm completion
• A technical, network, fraud, or eligibility issue occurs
• The reward limit has already been reached

Free limits, rewards, advertisements, and eligibility rules may change as the service develops.

11. Paid Features and Subscriptions

JOOD may offer paid features or subscriptions in the future.

Before purchase, the applicable app store will display the current price, billing period, taxes, renewal terms, and available trial information.

Unless otherwise stated by the applicable store:

• Subscriptions may renew automatically
• Payment is charged through your Apple App Store or Google Play account
• You manage or cancel subscriptions through the applicable store
• Deleting JOOD or deleting your JOOD account may not automatically cancel an active store subscription
• Refund requests are handled under the applicable store's rules

You should cancel an active subscription through the applicable app store before deleting your JOOD account if you no longer want it to renew.

12. Third-Party Services

JOOD relies on third-party services, which may include AI providers, authentication providers, hosting platforms, advertising networks, app stores, and device services.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies. JOOD is not responsible for third-party outages, decisions, content, security practices, or changes.

13. Availability and Changes

JOOD is provided on an evolving basis. We do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or compatible with every device.

We may:

• Change or discontinue features
• Apply or modify usage limits
• Perform maintenance
• Restrict access by platform, country, account, or device
• Change service providers or AI models
• Release experimental or beta features

Beta or development features may contain errors and may change without notice.

14. Account Suspension and Termination

You may stop using JOOD at any time and may permanently delete your account through the app.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate an account when reasonably necessary to:

• Enforce these Terms
• Comply with applicable law or a lawful request
• Protect JOOD, its users, or third parties
• Prevent fraud, abuse, or security threats
• Address non-payment or payment abuse
• Respond to conduct that may expose JOOD to liability

Where reasonably practical, we may provide notice. Immediate action may be taken when required for safety, security, legal compliance, or abuse prevention.

Account deletion is permanent. It may not cancel an active Apple App Store or Google Play subscription, which must be managed separately through the applicable store.

16. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JOOD is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

No express or implied warranty is made regarding:

• Accuracy, reliability, completeness, or usefulness
• Continuous or error-free availability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Security or preservation of content
• Compatibility with a particular device or service

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sajjad Majeed will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to JOOD.

This includes loss of data, income, profits, opportunities, reputation, or business interruption.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such an exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.

18. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, or expenses resulting from:

• Your unlawful or abusive use of JOOD
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your submitted or published content
• Your infringement of another person's rights

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the Republic of Iraq, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country provides otherwise.

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when JOOD's features, business model, providers, or legal obligations change.

The updated Terms will display a revised effective date or version number. For significant changes, JOOD may provide notice or request renewed acceptance.

Continued use after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by applicable law.
